Water Sensitive Cambridge

Water Sensitive Cambridge

Water Sensitive Cambridge CIC was founded in 2023 by local residents to work with, and be in service to, water.

The water-sensitive approach aims to reduce the impact of development on the water cycle in urban areas. They put rain into the ground close to where it falls to mitigate flooding and reduce pollution to brooks and rivers. As well as designing and building sustainable drainage systems, they also run outreach and education projects to aim for a better local relationship with water.
